If your craft table could use a little more drama—and perhaps the paper-craft equivalent of arriving in a jewelled evening gown—the Luxe Painted Peacock printable collection is ready to oblige. This free set combines emerald, peacock blue, deep teal, amethyst purple and antique gold in a coordinated collection of printable digital papers and practical painted ephemera.
The artwork was designed to resemble a luxurious original palette-knife painting. Thick ridges of colour, layered brush marks and broken pieces of gold leaf create texture that looks almost tangible, while a careful balance of light and dark papers makes the collection useful for far more than one type of project.
What is included in the free printable collection?
Your download contains eight decorative papers and one bonus coordinating elements sheet. Every page is supplied as a high-resolution, 300 DPI US Letter JPG. A combined nine-page PDF is also included for quick and convenient printing.
The papers are full-page, borderless designs with no added branding, so you can crop, fold, layer and resize them to suit your project. The bonus sheet is arranged with clear space between its pieces to make cutting easier.
Inside the download you will find:
Eight different jewel-toned painted papers
One coordinating printable ephemera sheet
Individual high-resolution JPG files
One combined printable PDF
US Letter pages measuring 8.5 × 11 inches
A closer look at the eight peacock papers
The collection begins with a magnificent sculptural painted peacock, surrounded by warm ivory, teal, purple and richly broken gold leaf. It is the hero paper of the set and works beautifully as a journal cover, framed focal panel or scrapbook-page centrepiece.
Two lighter papers introduce generous warm-ivory space with sweeping feathers and delicate painted flourishes. These are especially useful when you want to add writing, photographs, pockets or layered embellishments without losing the luxurious peacock theme.
The darker designs provide depth and contrast. One combines midnight teal, emerald, blue and purple in broad abstract movement; another fills the page with large overlapping feather eyes. The emerald-led and purple-led abstract papers can be cut into backgrounds, mats, borders and smaller decorative pieces without requiring the complete page design to remain visible.
The final airy paper features a diagonal sweep of jewel-coloured palette-knife marks and scattered gold leaf across an ivory ground. It makes a lovely writing-paper base, card layer or softly decorative journal page.
The coordinating painted ephemera sheet
The bonus page is not simply a sheet of pretty pictures. It contains practical pieces designed to be cut out and used throughout your projects:
Three individual peacock feathers in varied sizes
One small painted peacock embellishment
Two ornate blank journal labels
Two blank gift or journal tags
One wide blank title plaque
One circular medallion
One ornate blank frame
Two decorative corner flourishes
Three loose painted swashes
The blank areas can be used for names, dates, sentiments, short quotations, journal prompts or handwritten notes. Try printing the sheet at 100% for substantial embellishments, or print two copies per page to create smaller elements for cards, tags and mini journals.

These simple supplies will help you create professional-looking projects at home.
You do not need specialist supplies to enjoy the collection. A printer, paper, scissors and adhesive are enough for many simple projects. Heavier matte presentation paper or lightweight cardstock will give tags, cards and covers more structure, while ordinary printer paper is useful for folded journal pages, collage and decoupage.
How to print the Luxe Painted Peacock pages
Download and unzip the file if you want to print individual JPG designs. Choose the combined PDF when you want the simplest way to print the complete collection.
For pages at their intended size, select Actual Size or 100% in your printer dialogue. Choose Fit to Page if your printer cannot print to the edge; this may leave a narrow white margin, which can be trimmed away. Use your printer's best-quality or photo-quality setting when possible to preserve the rich shadows, small gold details and visible paint texture.
The metallic areas are part of the printed artwork rather than real foil. Glossy or satin paper can make the colours and highlights appear especially vibrant, while smooth matte paper creates a more convincing fine-art finish and is easier to write on.
Seven creative ways to use these peacock printables
1. Make a luxurious junk journal cover
Wrap sturdy card or book board with the hero peacock paper. Add the wide title plaque from the ephemera page and finish it with ribbon, a tassel or a small metal charm.
2. Create elegant handmade cards
Cut one of the abstract designs slightly smaller than your card blank, then layer a pale ivory paper over it as a smaller panel. Add a feather, frame or blank label with your own greeting.
3. Build richly layered scrapbook pages
Use a dark jewel-toned paper as the main background and introduce a light ivory design behind your photograph. Small scraps can become photo corners, tabs and narrow border strips.
4. Decorate a creative or reading journal
The tags and labels are ideal for reading dates, favourite quotations, ratings or short notes. The painted swashes can sit beneath a heading or divide two journal sections.
5. Make coordinating bookmarks and gift tags
Glue a printed design to cardstock, trim it into a bookmark or tag, and punch a hole for ribbon. Add a smaller feather embellishment for extra dimension.
6. Try collage and decoupage
Tear the abstract papers into irregular pieces and overlap them on boxes, notebook covers or mixed-media panels. The strong shared palette helps even small scraps look beautifully coordinated.
7. Create printable party or celebration details
Use the papers for invitation layers, place cards, favour tags or table labels. The peacock palette is particularly lovely for elegant dinners, milestone birthdays and jewel-toned celebrations.
Three easy project combinations to try
For a dramatic journal spread, place the dark abstract paper opposite the airy diagonal feather paper. Add the circular medallion and a single cut-out feather to connect the two pages.
For an elegant greeting card, use the emerald abstract as the background, layer a small piece of the ivory feather paper over it, and add one blank label for the sentiment.
For a luxury gift tag set, print the ephemera page on cardstock, cut out the two tags, and decorate the reverse sides with scraps from the purple and feather-eye papers.
