You do not need specialist equipment to enjoy the collection. A home printer, paper, scissors and glue are enough for many of the ideas above. A paper trimmer is helpful for very straight card panels and washi strips, but it is not essential.

Printing Tips for the Best Results

For full-size pages, select Actual Size or 100% in your printer settings. The files are already formatted for US Letter paper at 8.5 × 11 inches.

Choose paper according to the project:

  • Standard good-quality copy paper for collage layers and folded journal pages

  • Matte presentation paper for crisp colour and smooth backgrounds

  • Lightweight cardstock for tags, labels, cards and sturdy embellishments

  • Textured cardstock for a softer, more tactile finish

Use your printer's high-quality or best setting when you want the fine gold-inspired veining and translucent colour layers to appear at their clearest. The metallic areas are printed colour and do not contain real foil, but you can add gold foil, metallic paint or a gold pen after printing if you would like extra shine.

If your printer has narrow non-printable margins, choose Fit to Printable Area when you need the whole design visible. This may reduce the artwork slightly. For borderless printing, use the borderless setting supported by your printer and paper.
