Every page is a complete landscape scene with a generous open floor area where you can add your own photographs, characters, words and embellishments.

Explore the twelve ballrooms
The collection begins with a luminous Versailles-inspired ballroom in ivory and gold, followed by a dramatic midnight-blue masquerade hall beneath a painted celestial ceiling. A Venetian palazzo looks across sparkling turquoise water, while a blush Rococo salon offers a softer romantic setting.
You will also find an emerald winter garden beneath a glass roof, a pale Gothic ballroom illuminated through stained glass, and a magical moon-and-stars ballroom in sapphire and lavender. The Christmas palace brings festive red, evergreen and gold to the collection.
For more unusual projects, there is a gracefully faded ballroom with timeworn mirrors and soft blue walls, an Art Nouveau glass conservatory filled with flowing floral details, a magnificent imperial Russian ballroom and an enchanted fairy-tale palace with twin staircases and pastel stained glass.
Make a wedding or celebration journal
The gold, ivory, blush and pale-blue rooms make beautiful backgrounds for wedding photographs, anniversary memories, prom pictures and formal dance pages. Place one large photograph on the open floor or create a layered cluster using lace, silk ribbon, pearls, pressed flowers and small pieces of gold ephemera.
The ballroom setting instantly gives an ordinary photograph a sense of occasion. It also works well for family-history photographs featuring weddings, dances, parties or evening clothes.
Create paper-doll and fashion scenes
Because the rooms are empty, they make ready-made settings for printable paper dolls, vintage fashion figures, ballet dancers and costume illustrations. Scale the page to suit your characters, then add small paper tabs or removable adhesive so the figures can be repositioned.
The masquerade, Rococo, celestial and fairy-tale rooms are particularly suited to fantasy fashion and historical costume projects.
Build a miniature ballroom
Print a ballroom at a smaller scale to create the back wall of a shadow box, book nook, cigar-box room or paper diorama. Add layered columns, a small chandelier, dimensional staircases and tiny figures. Foam tape between the layers will create depth without requiring complicated construction.
You can also print a second copy of the same room and cut selected arches, columns or staircases from it. Layer these over the complete background to produce a convincing theatrical effect.
Add a ballroom to a junk journal or altered book
A complete ballroom can become a dramatic centre spread, chapter divider, inside cover or fold-out page. Add a quotation to the dance floor, hide journaling behind a hinged photograph or create pockets from translucent vellum so the architecture remains visible.
For an altered book, cut arches and staircases from duplicate prints and allow them to rise from the pages. Butterflies, paper flowers, lace, metallic thread and tiny crystals can turn the scene into a dimensional fairy-tale world.
Use the pages for digital collage
The high-resolution JPG files can also be used as backgrounds for digital artwork. Add photographed dancers, historical figures, book covers, fantasy characters or fashion illustrations. The wide landscape composition is useful for social graphics, book-review images, invitations and storytelling scenes.
Printing tips
For a full landscape US Letter page, print at 100% or select actual size in your printer settings. Choose a high-quality or photo setting for richer colour and sharper detail. Matte photo paper gives the artwork a luxurious finish, while ordinary presentation paper is a practical choice for journal pages.
If your printer does not support borderless printing, it may add a narrow white edge. This will not affect the artwork, and the page can be trimmed if desired. You can also scale the designs down for smaller journals, cards, shadow boxes and miniature projects.
